This 3 days bicycle tour will take you through hidden treasures of Thailand which lies along the 3 provinces; Nakon Pratom, Ratchaburi and Samut Songkhram. You will witness exotic scenes, ride pass villagers' backyard, rice fields and fruit orchards in a close distance that you have never imagine of. You will stay with villager in their home, experience the ways of Thai country life, cook and try local food that you may not find on restaurant's menu. Make yourself as home and feel like the Thais do. Day 1: bicycle tour starts at Thailand Green Ride office then visit to a grapefruit farms, Pra Pratom Jedi, the biggest stupa in Thailand and explore Nakon Pratom city. Hop on a train then continue riding through beautiful rice fields and different kinds of fruit plantations. Arrive at a home stay, a Thai wooden house situated peacefully in the midst of trees and next to the Klong. Local Thai dishes will be served for dinner and enjoy a peace of mind before bed. Riding distance is 70km. Day 2: rest day from cycling but not for great experience. You start your day by offering food to Buddhist monks pass by on a boat to collect alms. Then you take a walking tour into fruit plantations where you can try them out and learn how they are grown. You will learn how local wisdom is used in conjunction with modern knowledge from the farm yards. At lunch, you can join the aunty host in the kitchen to get a basic Thai cooking class and prepare your own lunch. Boat is available if you feel like to try your paddling skill, you can do it in a clear water canal just only that you have to do it a Thai way. In late afternoon, you will take a long tail boat along waterway to observe authentic lifestyle of local communities, visit unseen Thailand attraction, Bang Kae Noi temple, Amphawa floating night market and try traditional foods and deserts. Dinner will be served and you end your night with wonderful moment of fireflies sightseeing. Day 3: our final day starts off with cycling through local roads to the famous Damnoensaduak floating market, then visit the elephant house, ride through many different kinds of fruit plantations from sugar apple, mango, lime, dragon fruit, lychee, grape, guava and many more. We stop for you to sample those fruits when appropriate. Our ride continue through villages to Nakon Chaisri and we stop to try one of the best Pad Thai noodles by the river side. Riding distance is 80km. Riding condition: The ride is a 150 kilometers ride. Road conditions combine of asphalt road, dirt roads and some off tracks. We try to avoid traffic and most of time you will be riding on quiet roads. You stop almost every an hour to have a rest and take a drink. Riding Speed: we ride at speed of 15-20 km per hour for this bicycle tour. Drinks and snacks: Water or soft drink will be provided every hour during the trip.
