About Us

"Thailand Green Ride” was found by two Thai computer engineers who felt they were better suited to running a company related to what they truly enjoyed the most, which is working outdoors with people who also enjoy riding bicycles.

About the Founders: Parichat Suntararak and Supoj Choachaicharoenkul

After completing secondary school in Yasothon province, Parichat won a scholarship to study in Australia where she

completed her degree in Computer Science with honors from Deakin University. It was 1995 while at Deakin, that Parichat had her first experience on a mountain bike which started her new hobby of cycling. Parichat returned to Thailand and worked as a software engineer, but she felt she better fit in a more social work environment. Parichat decided to join the Institute for Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHSEI), a non-profit organization focused on OHSE issues and worked there until the office closed down in 2007.

In 1999, Parichat attended a Tourist Guide Training course at Ramkhamhaeng University. She completed the course with an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Tourism Authority of Thailand and worked part time as a tourist guide and bicycle tour guide, while attending Thammasat University where she received her Masters’ degree in Marketing in 2007. After obtaining her Master’s degree Parichat decided to put all her efforts towards their growing company “Thailand Green Ride”.

Supoj received his degree in Computer Science from Ramkhamhaeng University. Supoj has been cycling since 1993 and

was the one who persuaded Parichat to try cycling while she was in Australia. Supoj quickly wore out his first bike within one month as it was not designed for the many kilometers he was riding it, therefore Supoj decided to invest in a high quality bicycle and became very serious about cycling. Supoj has never stopped cycling and he has ridden more than ten thousand kilometers in Thailand. He has ridden in many short and long distance bicycle tours around Thailand.

Supoj is a real bicycle lover and both of us are very fortunate to live in a beautiful district where we can take our bikes out for a ride anytime we want.

Parichat and Supoj presently run Thailand Green Ride as a husband and wife team who are dedicated to offering all guests very unique and interesting tours in Thailand.
